Founded by Fatoumata Jammeh, An experienced unisex hair stylist with over a decade of experience and a care worker, Curly Growth Ltd was born from a deep understanding of both haircare and human care.
After years of working within care environments, Fatoumata saw first-hand how something as simple as a haircut or a gentle wash could completely lift a person’s spirit, restoring confidence, comfort, and a sense of self.
But she also saw the gap: many residents and vulnerable people didn’t have access to stylists who understood their unique needs, hair types, or care routines. That’s when Curly Growth was created, to bridge that gap with compassion, professionalism, and expertise.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: To make beauty and wellbeing accessible to everyone, regardless of age, mobility, or circumstance. Every visit, every style, every smile we help create is part of that mission.
Founder’s Message
As both a stylist and a care professional, I’ve always believed that haircare is more than appearance, it’s dignity, identity, and emotional wellbeing.
I started Curly Growth because I wanted to make sure no one is left out of that experience. Whether it’s an elderly resident, someone living with a disability, or a person who just needs a stylist who understands their curls, our team brings patience, empathy, and skill to every appointment.
